 Job Summary 

Driver Trainees ride on delivery trucks, assisting the Driver with the delivery of cases and kegs of beverage products. The Driver Trainee helps put away product at accounts, and ensures the product is properly merchandised and rotated for freshness. This job is physically rigorous and starts early in the morning.  

Applicants should: 

Be 21 or older 

Possess a Valid NYS Driver’s License with a satisfactory driving record that would allow the Trainee to pursue a Class A License.

Have 2 years’ general employment experience, including a minimum of 1-year related driving and/or delivery experience.  
 

Essential Responsibilities

Delivers the customer-purchased product to assigned accounts 

Stock coolers and shelves neatly with product, and ensure proper rotation of  

product with every delivery 

Picks up all empty cases and or kegs at their respective stops daily

 Ensures all safety policies and other Company policies and procedures are

adhered to all times 

People 

Communicates with customers and co-workers as needed to ensure superior  

customer service 

Communicates all problems or issues to immediate supervisor without delay 

Reports and resolves all customer service issues both internal and external in a 

timely manner 

Responsible for the communication and documentation of all accident, incidents,  

and injuries which occur in the delivery function 

Self-Organization 

Demonstrates the ability to evaluate and solve problems  

Able to complete tasks in the committed timeframe 

Able to adapt to changes and demonstrate flexibility to overcome obstacles 

Required Qualifications 

High School Diploma or GED 

Minimum 3 months warehouse or related experience 

Strong interpersonal skills 

Ability to comply with safety procedures 

Ability to safely operate required equipment (Forklift, Walkie Rider) 

Physical & Environmental Requirements 

Work safely and follow all OSHA regulations and company safety policies and procedures 

Notify Safety Officer, Supervisor and Human Resources immediately for all on-the-job accidents or injuries  

Exposure to rain, snow, extreme hot or cold 

Ability to lift, push, pull up to 165lbs. with/without assistance 

Ability to sit, stand, walk, squat, bend, twist, reach, balance, grasp
